my mother is suffering from diarrhoea along with fever for about 3 days from now,she took electrol along with paracetamol and norflox-tz ,she is chronic diabetic,hypertensive ,she have altered bowel habits for a while atleast frm about a month .my doctor said she shouldnt have taken electrol.is it right??

Since your Mother is suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension taking electral without proper blood tests can cause complication of raising the blood sugar as it contains sugar and blood pressure as it contains Sodium which can raise blood pressure.
Anyways, since she is having diarrhea with fever, the most needed are the tests of stool and tests of blood for CBC, Electrolytes, liver and kidney functions.
And to get started on proper antibiotics, metronidazole, probiotics.
Also get the blood sugar and blood pressure regularly checked to see whether these are well in control or not.
