Suggest Medication For Diarrhea

Our daughter is 6 months old. She is taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection. I changed her sheets to a darker color and noticed that her head is sweating (it could have been doing this all along, but I never noticed until yesterday). It is enough to leave a large wet spot. She has also has had diarrhea. Should I be overly concerned for SIDS risk?

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hello,

Why what you say and with a precedent history of antibiotic you say I feel that this could be antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Probiotic with saccharomyces boulardii will be very useful here. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting. You need not worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
