Suggest Dosage Of Valparin For Treatment Of Seizures

hello sir,
i'm fathima. 1 year before my daughter was suffered from seizures at the age of 1.5 years old {2seizures attack on the same day because of high fever}. dr advised to take valparin 200 for 3 years {1.25ml and 2.5ml twice daily} .but 3 months before she was again attacked by one time with high fever. now she is 2.5 years old and weight is 10kg. will u plz explain about the dosage for her.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If the seizures are occuring at the height of fever they are called febrile seizures in the age group 6 months to 6 years.
If so continuous treatment for 3 years is not necessary.
Reducing fever with paracetamol and sponging.
Treating the cause of fever if possible
An anticonvulsant friegium may be used for intermittent prophllaxis.
It subsides spontaneously after 6 years of age.
