Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Chaithanya's  Response
Psoriasis can be treated effectively through ayurveda. The most important is to follow healthy diets and avoid indulging in wrong food habits. Visit any ayurveda doctor near to your place so that he or she can correct it.
When the patches are spreading it shows that the causative factors for the disease is increasing in your body. First the accumulation of toxins has to be eliminated. You can undergo panchakarma treatment which is very effective.

Homeopath Dr. Rangadhar Satapathy's  Response

Welcome to HCM

Psoriasis is an auto immune disease. In auto immune disease your own immune system attack your own cells thinking of foreign cells. The same thing hapen in psoriasis where your skin epithelial cells are getting affected by your own immune system. So all auto immune disorder takes considerable time to show the remarkable improvement. The relieving of symptom by any medicine is not the cure of the disease. It can again reappear after a gap of few months or years. It is required a total constitutional homeopathic treatment that targets the immune system to work in a normal way. There is not any specific medicines in homeopathy for any disease. The medicines are selected as per the physical symptoms, mental constitution, the worsening and treleving factors of the symptoms etc. So if you are feeling more itching and appearance of more patches that does not mean it will not cured by homeopathy , you can re consult to your homeopath. He may change the potency or medicines . But always consult to any qualified homeopath. If the medicines is higher potency and an indicated once then this worsening of symptoms is called homeopathic aggravation and will automatically disappear after a few days and will follow by rapid improvement of symptoms. If you have taken some allergic or irritant foods that can also cause the aggravation of symptoms. you should avoid egg, fish, all non veg foods, mushrooms etc. So better go for a second consultation to your doctor and do accordingly.

Thanak you
