Suffering From Hair Thinning With Many Pimples And Iregular Menstruation. Is There Any Link ?
hi iam 25 yrs.old a mother of a six yr.old i have been experiencing hair thinning.. after my husband left i stop taking pills .. i just want to ask if althea pills can prevent my hair thinning and it can be posible if i can take althea pills just to regulate my menstruation even if may husband are not here...or should i take yasmin pills.. please answer. by the way im using novuhair scalp lotion on my scalp.. after showering there are many strands falling about 20 hairs... and everytime i comb about 15 hairs..most especially on tha=e front of my scapl.. please help me tnx

Read your prob, Althea pill use as treatment of acne, irreular period , menstrual tension etc. it has not effect in hair growth. if you have suffering from irregular period you should take it contin. for hair you should take protine riched diet n Vitamin C riched diet as they are responsible for healthy skin n hair. you should take tab of vita. c n multivitamin.

Hair thinning and hair loss can occur due to variety of causes.
Consult a good dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
OC pills have no direct relation to hair loss.
Acne can occur due to OC pills.
Drospirenone - ethinyl estradiol is a combination medication containing to ingredients: progestin (drospirenone) and estrogen (ethinyl estradiol). It is a birth control pill used to prevent pregnancy. This medication works by preventing ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary) and by causing changes in the mucus of the cervix (that makes it difficult for sperm to penetrate into the uterus) and in the endometrium (that make it difficult for an egg to implant).
Drospirenone - ethinyl estradiol is also used to treat moderate acne for women over 16 years of age who also want birth control and have started menstruating.
you can continue with yasmin.
