Suffering From Constant Neck Pain. Prescribed Indernal And Flunarin For Migraine. Is It Due To Spondilytis?

Dear Sir, I am 24yrs old. I am having neck pain since 2yrs. I went for a check up to a neuro doctor a month back. He told that i got migraine&prescribed me inderal 10mg&flunarin5. I was doing well but my neck pain still persists. Doctor what to do?? Is it spondilytis something? Pls help

Hello,
Yes, many patients of migraine have cervical spondylosis as one of the triggering factors. Your age is young to have this but there can be early cervical changes.

Get an X Ray neck to see if there are any bony or disc changes due to cervical.

Your neck pain can also be due to cervical rib- this can be detected on simle X Ray neck.

Till then avoid using big pillow & sitting infront of TV/ computer for long time.
