Suffering From Acute Acidity. Is It Harmful To Take Rabonik Plus For A Long Time?
Is there is any harm if we continuously take medicine name called rabonik plus for long term...i have been prescribed this medicine to take daily...as i am suffering acute acidity...as long as i take rabonik plus medicine i feel normal and active...if i stop or have this medicine on alternate days i fell uneasy and acidic....what should i do...is there any substitute of this medicine...as long as i take this i feel good if i dont i feel uneasy...and how should i get control to my acidic problem ?

Actually the thing is that acidity or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a chronic problem and usually requires patients to keep taking medications for long periods of time.
I have patients who come to my clinic and have been taking rabonik for years and years and have not had any problem.
Therefore if this medication makes you feel good and makes your symptoms go away I would recommend that you keep taking it.
However having said that I would also recommend that before you take this decision you should have an endoscopy done to make sure everything in your stomach is ok.
