I have pancreatitis as a side effect of long term lipitor use. We are dealing with the pancreatitis with medications and a low fat (and b-o-r-i-n-g) diet until things clear up. Still feeling a lot of malaise and having trouble with appetite.
Now I have a white coated tongue, some days worse than others. Mouth tastes like the bottom of a bird cage (no direct knowledge of actual bird cage bottom). Is this just part of the process that will go away when the pancreas heals?
