Stomach Pain On Using Painkillers. History Of Bilateral Pain In The Chin, Soles And Toes. On Percocets And Tylenol. Alternative Medication?

Hi.. Likely have nerve involvement from tennis lessons 4 years ago. bilateral pain shins , soles and recently toes. also have wicked plantar fasciitis likely worse from nerve pain. Staring to get spasams and cramps in long front shin muscle and twitchy soles of feet. Have tried everything.. Chiro, massage, accupunture, massage, rheumatologist, scans, mri .....on an on. Not sure why drs haven't referred me to neurologist. I had to ask for this and I still waiting. Question .. Very careful with meds, percocets and Tylenol 3 s give me horrible stomach pain. Is there an alternative pain med that I can ask for to block this until I get to neurologist. I'm thinking I need some type of injection block and /or surgery. Thanks for time. Heather

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Percocets( oxycodon+ acetoaminophen) + tylenol ( paracetamol ) are most potent and effective pain killers .
The drawback or side effects are stomach pain or hyper acidity induced by these pain killers.
Two option are there take antacid along these pain killers ( percocets & tylenol) .
If antacid is not effective then take proton pump inhibitors after treating doctor's advise.
2nd option is take pain killer in injection form.
So consult your neurologist as soon as possible. Good luck. Dr. HET
