Sore Throat, Hard To Swallow, Feels Like Hard Ball On Upper Throat. Is That Normal?
My throat started feeling sore yesterday, kind of hard to swallow...never really ever pay attention to my throat, much less the feel of it. I pressed my fingers to to my upper throat, just under my chin and it feels like there is a hard ball in there. Is that normal?
It is most likely to be a inflamed lymph gland due throat infection. This will improve with time and if it hurts you can use some simple pain killers like paracetamol or Ibuprofen. Also try warm salt water gargling few times a day for your sore throat. Make sure you drink enough fluids.
