Sore Throat, Dry Cough, Croaky Voice. Taking Azhithral 500, Dosage? What Should Be Done?

Hi, i had a sudden throat soreness 3 days back. I usually take wikoryl bt inspite of taking 2 wikoryl tablets the soreness worsened. The same night i started taking Azhithral 500.
I have taken it for 3 days. Could u please tell me if the dosage is 3 days or 5 days.
My throart is now better . Though i have some dry cough and a bad cold ,my voice is croaky as well.. Please suggest me what shud be done

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
You have sudden throat soreness 3 days back. For this you started taking Azithral 500mg for 3 days. Now your throat is well but have some dry cough and a bad cold ,your voice is croaky as well.
These all finding suggestive of acute laryngopharyngitis, there for you continue Azithral for 2 days more and consult ENT Specialist.

Hi,
As you feel better with Azithral, continue for two days more and complete the course.
Along with antibiotic take some cough syrup as well.

you have alreadt taken antibiotics and you need to take antiallergic now take montelucast 10 mg bd
add codeine+cpm combination stp i tsf night
add bronchodilaor syp bd
antacid syp bd
take 2 week all problems are solved
