Small Red Bump On Bottom Lip, Tingling And Itching. Anything To Worry ?
Last night i got a small red bump on my bottom lip out of no where. It felt fine one second but within 30 seconds it started tingling, felt numb, started itching, and got a tiny bit swollen and formed a bump right where my lips touch (not on the inside but not on the outside) i do have allergies and get hives sometimes but never on my lip. I've never had a cold sore before so i don't think thats what it is. It started going away within an hour and when i woke up it was gone. I would just like to make sure it's nothing to worry about. Thanks for the help!
Hello, The red bump arised on lips may be due to aphthous ulcers formed. I would advice you to maintain oral hygiene well. Use soft bristled toothbrush and avoid vigorous toothbrushing habits. Use lukewarm saline and chlorhexidine mouthrinse to gargle. Apply dologel on the affected site. Take plenty of fluids and nutritious diet. Vitamin c,and iron supplements has to be administered. Hope this helps.
