Small painful lymph node on neck, tender and movable, pain on that side of shoulder, back. What is happening ?

Hi, I have had a small painful lymph node on the side of my neck and now have a few other small pea sized lymph nodes on the same side of the neck. Not very swollen but tender and movable and now I have a lot of muscle pain on that side of the shoulder and a pull feeling on the back of my neck and head. What is happening to me?

Thanks for writing to us.
The multiple small lymph nodes in the neck that you are having is likely to be due to a local infection. Usually such mild swellings do subside spontaneously after the infection subsides. In case the symptoms are persistent, do get an FNAC done.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
