Small Child Having Bumps On Legs, Swelling, White, Green And Yellow Pus, Rashes. Treatment?

my 3 year old had like 4 big bumps on her leg which looked like bites and they got really swollen with white puss in them and when i pinched at them all the white stuff came out along with green stuff and yellow stuff then a bunch of little ones came out and it looks like a rash but with little white tips, when her clothes or anything touch it, it hurts her. Hi Mari
These are called pustules, pyodermas, impetigo , boils.. furuncles etc

Often they are caused by bacteria called staphylococci and can be confirmed by sending the white material for culture tests.

doctors often prescribe mupirocin ointment for application and a good antibiotic like say amoxycillin to be taken by mouth for almost 10 days.

If the lesions are caused by streptococci and if are not treated for 10 days... there is chance of involving kidneys after 2 weeks to 1 year .. the condition being called PSGN.

I Hope this makes u understand the seriousness with these issues.
