Should X-ray Be Done For Feverish Feeling During Bronchitis?

I was diagnosed with bronchitis on Monday with temp of 99.9 and told to get a chest xray if my temp kept going up! I have checked temp for 3 days and it is from 96.7 to 97.9 but I fell like I have fever! Should I get xray even if I am not running a high temp? I am on antibiotics!

well if your fever does not rises any more and subsides gradually as you are already on antibiotics the there is no need for x ray. actually x ray is done to access the lung and bronchial pathology and if fever rises or even persist for longer duration even with your antibiotic then you really need because there might be associated pneumonia or pleural effusion due to bacterial infection , it will also tell about the extent of bronchitis and changes in your lung due to its persistence.
thanks for consulting HCM.
