Dear sir

Verapamil is a calcium channel blockers

Atenolol is a beta blockers

These two drugs belongs to different group of drugs which acts to control blood pressure through different mechanisms.

So if your blood pressure is really high then it is adviced to continue taking these two drugs.

Thanks
