Should I Continue Arbivit And Vitcofol If Child S Height And Weight Is Normal?

Hi Doctor Sir My son is 4 months old now. He was born with birth weight of 2.42kgs, and is now at 6.8kgs. Doc has given Arbivit (1 ml once a day), Mecalvit (2.5 ml twice a day) and Vitcofol (5 drops twice a day) till 12 weeks, and has now changed Vitcofol to Toneferon (5 drops twice a day) and retained Arbivit and Mecalvit. We have checked with several parents who have told us that their baby s pediatrician has not given any medicine and only prescribed breast feed or top feed. My son is exclusively on breast feed. As per doc, his weight and height is normal considering his age. So should we continue giving him these medicines? And can you pls let us know if there are any side effects of these medicines?

breast feed is sufficient for most needs of the baby except for Vit D and iron. As per recommendations all babies need to take 400 IU of Vit D and 11mg per Kg of elemental Iron to avoid later deficiency.
Continue with Arbivit & Tonoferon.
No side effects .
