Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I Be Concerned About The Pulsating Feeling On The Right Forehead?
I am a 64-year old female who has hypertension and I take one 10mg. lisinopril daily. For the last three or four days, I have been getting a pulsating feeling in the veins or artery on the right side of my forehead. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Hello! Thank you for your question on HCM! Regarding your concern I would explain that your pulsating feeling doesn't seem to be serious. You just have to control your blood pressure. If your complain is associated with other symptoms like headache, vision disturbances of that side, a Horton arteritis should be ruled out. First you have to perform some lab tests, like complete blood count, erythrosedimentation rate, PCR to confirm the presence of inflammation. Hope to have been helpful to you! Greetings from Dr. Iliri
