Should I Be Concerned About The Pinkish Mucus In Stools After Treated For Acute Gastro?

HI, I have a 7 week olds baby boy. He was admitted into hospital overnight one week ago and treated for acute gastro with oral fluids and also had small amounts of blood in his stool. He has been ok since, however i have seen a return of pink mucus in his stool. Should i be concerned? he does not seem unwell otherwise.

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for choosing HCM for helps.
I had gone through the history given here, it seems to be bacillary dysentery and such stool consistency with presence of RBC are common.
Once the baby is in hospital then it is nothing to worry there the baby will be taken best care, bacillary dysentery takes some more time to come around, be patience it will be fine with proper line of treatment.
hope this information helps.
