hi, im 20 years old and ive genital warts, i was using aldara cream to treat it, but i then forgot about it as i had alot of stuff going on, but ive notcied they have come back, when i was using the cream i used two applications but never completed the 16 weeks of treatment, i was just wondering could i start all over again, or just finish my last box? because if i do use the last box and they are not fully gone what do i do ?

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Genital wart is caused by some Human Papillomavirus (HPV). There is no cure for HPV. HPV may go in latency. But for treatment of wart, Aldara (Imiquimod) is used. Depending upon the numbers and size of wart treatment may range from one to four month.
You are not completing the course of drug in one go. I advise you to complete your last box. But warts may recur again, in this case you consult your treating doctor for New box or change in medication.

Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
