Should I Increase My Dosage To Treat Symptoms Like Tiredness, Hair Loss And Extreme Cold Sensitivity?

hi....am on eltroxin 25 mcg per day....my TSH last week was 3.3 ( lab reference 0.3 to 4.3 ).....but i have gained around 3 Kg in a month with a very every good diet and walking and yoga daily....i also have hypo symptoms like tiredness, hair loss and extreme cold sensitivity. Should i increase my medicine dosage? what should be my target TSH level??

Keeping the TSH level within normal limits should be the aim of treatment of hypothyroidism with Eltroxin. Symptom control may or may not occur in all the patients even with controlled TSH level. You are advised to meet your Physician who can order further investigations to find the cause of your tiredness.
