Should I Be Worried About Itchy Red Bumps On Leg And Cough?
About 2-3 dozen small itchy red bumps came out on my legs all of a sudden. I had been in Mexico and having some problems breathing deeply. (probably the aftermath of a cold during Xmas and New Years). The day after the bumps I started coughing violently (dry cough) and now I feel like I have flu (slight fever, body aches, runny nose) and still my lungs just feel not right. Could there be a connection between the bumps and the flu/cold? Is there any infectious disease other than the common seasonal virus that I should be worried it could be?

Should I Be Worried About Itchy Red Bumps On Leg And Cough?
Hello, Thanks for the query, you might have developed acute urticaria. It is an allergic condition. Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria. You need to find out the cause. Treatment can be with oral anti histamines. Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long. Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
