Sharp Prickling In Left Foot. Advise?

I started getting sharp prickling in my left foot. It started two weeks ago with what looks to be a corn on the bottom of the middle toe. Three days ago I started getting the same sensation on the outside of the ball of the left foot and now it feels to be in the bottom of the big toe as well. I haven't changed shoes or made any other changes that I am aware of.

Hi,It seems that you are having burning sensation in your feet ,may be caused by nerve damage in the legs, also called neuropathy. Although many medical conditions can cause burning feet, diabetes is the most common. Most often, neuropathy, or nerve damage, is the cause of burning feet. Diabetes is by far the most common cause of neuropathy in the legs. Many other conditions can cause neuropathy with a burning sensation in the feet...Chronic kidney disease (uremia),Vitamin deficiency (vitamin B 12 and occasionally vitamin B6),Alcohol abuse,Low thyroid hormone levels (hypothyroidism),HIV/AID ,Drug side effects, including chemotherapy drugs, vitamin B6 overdose, HIV medicines, isoniazid, amiodarone, metformin, and others.... Vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels).. Arterial disease, Hypertension. Besides neuropathy, infections and inflammation of the feet can also cause a burning sensation in the feet. The most common of these is athlete's foot, an infection of the skin caused by fungus.
Peripheral artery disease (PAD) also commonly causes burning feet. The poor circulation of blood to the feet may frequently cause pain, tingling, and burning feet, especially while walking........ Laboratory tests.....Sometimes, tests of blood, urine, and/or spinal fluid may be suggested to help diagnose the cause of burning feet. Vitamin levels can be checked with a simple blood test. ,Electromygraphy, nerve conduction test and nerve biopsy may be done by expert ,if needed...
You consult either dermatologist or neurologist. He will give treatment according to the cause of disease. Gabapentin, pregabalin, carbamazepin,amitriptyline,tylenol,tramadol..etc. are the drugs helpful to reduce burning pain in feet...
If there seems local fungus, you take antifungal tablet and apply antifungal cream.
