Sharp Pain On Both Sides Of Pelvic Area While Coughing Or Laughing, Irregular Periods. What Could Be The Reason?

I've been having pelvic pain for about two weeks. It started off as cramps but my period is nowhere in sight and I missed my last one. I'm irregular so I wasn't worried. My pelvic pain is different now, everytime I cough or laugh, it's a really sharp pain on both sides of my pelvic area. Any idea of what could be the issue?

Hello!
This description is not enough to determine a diagnose but the causes of this pain are some:
ovarian cysts and masses
acute pelvic inflammatory disease
ectopic pregnancy
extrapelvic origin
If the pain does not progress, further search for the cause is indicated before initiating treatment(pain killers)
You should go to the doctor and do a check up or at least :
ultrasound
blood test
urinary analysis.
Take care of your self
