Sharp Pain In Lower Stomach. No Periods After Being Off Shots. Test Swabs Shows No Infection. Due For Ultrasound. Thoughts?
I've been with my boyfriend about 4 months latly I've been getting sharp pains in my lower stomach. I've talked to my Obgyn an have an appointment in 2 weeks. However tonight it hurt so bad he had to stop an I was crying in pain. I ended up having him carry me to a hot bath. That isn't normal. I came off the shoot in march an haven't had a period since. But on the shoot I had my period the whole time. My Obgyn thinks it could be a Pavlic infection but just 2 weeks ago I had my yearly and she took Test swabs of me inside an no infection showed up. When she called to tell me everything came back normal I told her the pain keeps coming back so she deciced to have me come in for an ultra sound.
Your symptoms could be related to many conditions like infections, pelvic inflammatory diseases, anatomical obstruction or changes, hormonal imbalances, vaginismus, etc.
Please visit your doctor for the ultrasound and also request for a urine examination and vaginal swab test. Hope this information helps.
Best wishes.
