Severely Bloated Post Cabbage Diet, Took Enemea For Constipation, Chest Pain, Nausea And Back Pain. Worry?
I have tried the cabbage diet and while on the diet experienced terrible bloating therfore used a enemea thinking i was constipated. Last night I started experiencing chest pain and nausea . I took tums and went to bed. I woke up with the same chest pain and nausea. I have expelled gas from both directions and again have taken about six tums today but am still experiencing chest pressure, neck, and back pain . Should I worry? I feel stupid asking
Dear Muttley.. I have gone through your post in which you have mentioned about your experience with cabbage diet.
The high fiber content in the cabbage diet is notorious for causing bloating and gas, which is further causing you the symptoms of chest pressure, neck and back pain.
But there is nothing to worry, as these symptoms are temporary & subsides with time.
There is no need of using enema..Tablet Gas-X will be helpful.
If the symptoms still persist, then it will be better to consult a Gastroenterologist.
Wishing you a good health.
Thanks & Take care.
