Severe Clavicle Pain Post Fall, Extremely Swollen Scalene Muscle, Numbness In Arms And Legs, X-rays Clear. What Can Help?

Hello - I fell about six months ago and have severe pain near my clavicle . I have had xrays which show nothing is damaged to the acutal clavicle. However, I continue to experience pain and the scalene muscle is extremely swollen all of the time. Additionally, my arm and leg continue to go numb. What can I do to help the situation?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling in the area of injury is suggestive of a soft tissue injury in the area. Regular hot fomentation and anti inflammatory medicines will help.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
