I have severe burning sensation in my mouth, tounge, upper mouth, gums. I also get a sweet taste in my mouth from no where, or it can be a salty taste, or even a bitter taste. no matter what I eat is does not have flavor - it is flat. the sensations start in the morning and progressively gets worse as the days goes on. I an down to hardly eating anything.
I am not dieabetic, I do not have acid reflux. have gone off meds and nothing changed. I drink a lot of fluids. ????????

HI
Thank fro choosing HCM
This could be stomatitis, the primary cause could be teeth infection or lesion, second possibility is deficiency of folic acid, third could be a fungal infection, to confirm these, clinical observation is necessary in my opinion you first consult the dentist, see what the dentist says, proper treatment of all these gives good result and no need to worry it will come around soon, Have nice day.
