Reddish Rash On Penis On The Tip And The Corona. What Could This Be?

Hi I noticed a rash near the tip of my penis a few days ago. No pain, itching or discharge. It was a reddish colour. Now the rash near the tip has subsided but has not disappeared completely and I woke up this morning and saw a similar rash on the corona of my penis - reddish/purple in colour. Again no pain, itching or discharge. What could this be?
