Rash Like Redness On Penis, Swollen Glands. Diagnosed With Mono. Are These Related?

I have noticed a rash like redness on my penis for about 2 months now. I have no sores, have been tested for stds and came back negative. The glans on the tip of my penis are swollen, and the tip itself is swollen with a bit of swelling on the underside near the tip. I was just diagnosed with mono, I was wondering if these symptoms I am experiencing on my penis could be caused by the mono or something else? I have asked my urologist and general physician about the redness down there and neither have an answer. Note there is not real itching, just more of an irritation/burning.

Hi, the lesions on the genital organs may be of mixed type, having a group of organisms, so the diagnosis should be made from the major organism, and other organisms may show their symptoms now and then .
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
