RFA Incompetent Perforator On Right Leg. MRI Says Vein Did Not Close All The Way, Surgery Again. Second Opinion ?
I recently had a RFA incompetent Perforator done on my right leg and the doctor informed me today after doing the ultrasound that evidently the vein did not close all the way and he said it might have to be done again I am very upset about this and how it might affect me the way it is now, should I get a second opinion?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. IF there is only partial closure of the vein then the chances of recurrence with activity are high. A repeat surgery is recommended. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
