Prescribed Utovlan To Delay Period. Early Period. Suggest?

Hello, my daughter was prescribed utovlan to delay her period as we are going on holiday next week, she was told to begin taking the tablets 3 days before travelling. However her period has come earlier that expected so I presume the tablets will not be useful now? She is concerned that she will continue bleeding during our holiday. Please can you advise?

Infertility Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for you query.

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Since her cycles have started, there is nothing you can do.

2) If her bleeding may not continue beyond 3 to 5 days if she bleeds normally

I hope I answered your query. I will be available for any follow up query you have.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
