Pregnant, Trying Different Prenatal Vitamins, Getting Fishy Taste. Should I Switch Vitamins?

I am about 8 weeks pregnant and i am trying different prenatal vitamins .....I have started getting this fishy taste whenever i eat....should i switch vitamins and try something different? I have also had gastric bypass and use an over the counter prenatal gummy, should i continue to take those as well as the precscription strength?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
During the first trimester of pregnancy, women often experience weird and changing tastes.
Stop the prenatal gummies now.
Please consult a gynecologist and take proper pregnancy vitamins as per prescription.
The fishy taste could be due to a particular brand of vitamins, but in general, is due to early pregnancy.
Try not taking the vitamins on an empty stomach, and avoid taking them at bedtime too.
YOu can have strawberry or orange flavoured ones too.
All the best.
