Pregnant, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, back pain. Cause of worry?

Hi there, am 37 weeks and 2 days. I have been experiencing constipation sort of thing few days back. But today I had a mild diarrhea sort of thing, along with nauseaus feeling and persistant , dull back pain . All of this is making me very uncomfortable. Also I have this warm sensation in my tummy nd I just feel like drinking cold stuff to ease it off but it s not exactly working. I have tried cold milk, fruits water. Could this mean anything ?? Or is it going to get any better before baby arrives??

Thanks for writing your query.
Constipation during pregnancy is common finding. If you are having mild diarrhoea than increase your liquid intake like more of coconut water, apple juice, pomegrenate juice. Eat curd it has good bacteria which helps to cure mild diarrhoea. It could be due to stomach upset or gastrointestinal infection. If you dont feel better inspite of following all this & are still have feeling of warm sensation, kindly get yourself evaluated from your doctor since you are already 37 weeks.
Wish you good health

Welcome to HCM,
Your symptoms suggest that you have hyperacidity with some reflux which causes heart burn, as diarrhhea is mild you have to just take water and electrolytes which can be taken in the form of ORS (Oral rehydration fluid) or natural fluids like coconut water and butter milk.
You can take some antacid and H2 blockers like Ranitidine with antiemetics, but you can do so after consulting your treating doctor.
As cold milk reduces acidity but can lead to rebound symptoms.
Your backache could be due to your physiological condition, take adquate rest and continue to take your calcium and Iron supplementation.
Take lot of water and fresh fruits like Banana, Papaya, Apple all helps to avoid constipation.
Take care every thing will improve with time, continue your ante natal exercises that means deep breathing exercises.
Good Luck
