From the information you have provided,
There are two possibilities
1. It could be an infection you have caught from your kids- in which case you have to meet a paediatrician who can give us some more information on the nature of the infection. Most often its viral.
2. You could have caught it from your partner. In which case , ask whether he has any symptoms & if so
seek medical help.
In either case, meet up with your obstetrician to discuss options for your treatment.
When you get an examination done, we will know exactly what we are dealing with.
If its viral, normally we manage it with supportive measures.
If its bacterial we give you antibiotics which are safe in
pregnancy.
Its better to meet your doctor than wait & watch.
Usually there is no effect on pregnancy if the infection is mild and is treated.
