Planning For Baby. Have PCOS, Advised Genitte Tablet And Pelvic Scan. Suggested Weight Reduction And Metamin. Advise?

My Name is Mary Edwin aged 30 (wght 89 hght 5.6)from Bangalore, planning to a 1st kid. Recently got a report with PCOS issue.
My Gyno doctor suggested to take Genitte Tablets for 2 cycles and get the pelvic scan to my surprise the cyst as increased. During my recent visit she suggested me to reduce weight and prescribed Metmin A & Fertisure F.
will this suit my health.

Ginette is oral contraceptive pills.
However, PCOS is a condition of basic hormonal imbalance.
Metformin helps to alleviate some of the symptoms.
Fertisure F too is helpful for fertility.
Please undergo a cycle of follicular monitoring to check for ovulation.
Weight loss is critical.

The PCOS is a problem you have due to hormonal imbalances. You will have them in almost all the scans as this condition is there.
The size of the cysts does not matter when you have started getting treated for the condition.
The drugs suggested - MetminA ( metformin ) and Fertisure F by your gynaecologist will be to help you keep the condition under control. Usually a common finding in there group of women in insulin resistance, and the drugs will help you in this case.
you can safely start using them and if you have any symptoms bothering you after taking the medication then please meet your consultant and discuss. They will definitely help you.
