Hi im brittany. My boyfriend and i were kissing and then two days later he found out he had impetigo. What does that mean for me? I feel a little dizzy every now and then and i might have a little sore throat coming on. No sores or blisters have shown up on my skin. What can i do to prevent it? Hi Dear.
Welcome to the platform of Health care Magic.
Impetigo is a skin infection by a bacteria callled streptococus /staphlococcus.
It is contageous, can spread to other person just by simply contact with the infected part.
Better to avoid contact.
But it responds very fast to particular type of gram postive sensitive Antibiotic .
Please consult dermatologist to get the proper treatment and total eradication of the disease.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
