Pap Smear Test Showed Scanty Smear, Moderate Coccobacilli. Meaning?
Hi! Dr. Can you help me to explain about the result of my second pap smear? The result is Unsatisfactory by evaluated. Scanty Smear and coccobacilli- moderate, what does it mean by this results? it is dangerous to my health? Please help me. before i go to my OB so that i have an idea about my problem. Thank you! RAV

There does not seem to be any problem with the smear. All it means is that the tissue taken from the neck of the womb at the time of the smear was very little to make a diagnosis. This happens frequently and all this means is that the doctor may need to repeat the test to get a proper report.
There is no danger to your health at all.
