Pain While Swallowing On Roof Of Mouth, Feels Swollen. How To Get Relief?

The back of the roof of my mouth gets painful when I swallow . The pain is similar to that if a sore throat and on either side (next to my back molars) it feels swollen. It s been like this for a few days. At first the pain was only there when I ate, but if I stopped it would go away I. Around 5-10 mi items. It s progressed to what I have happening now. What is wrong/what can I do to make it go away?
