Pain In The Tailbone After A Fall. Loose Stools. Are These Related?

I am a 44 yr old lady. 5'2'', 130pounds. Good health. 5 days ago I fell directly on my tailbone. It hurts when I sit down. Very tender, not excruciating though. It is not requiring the use of pain killers. My concern is for the last 3 days I have had very loose bowels. Using the toilet many times daily. Could this be related to my tailbone isssue?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi
i think there might be no relation to your tail bone issue. you might be simply having gastroenteritis. better visit near by physician or surgeon for the treatment. simple antibiotics and water and ors will do.
get x-ray of your lubosacral region for any fracture.

wish you good and fast recovery
