Dear friend, welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I am Dr. Prasad Akole (Critical Care Expert- http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole) and am glad to address to your query here.
An occasional RBC in the urine is acceptable.
Significant number of red cells in the urine occur with infection, stone, tumour, blood thinner medicines, trauma etc.
You may repeat the sample to see if RBCs appear, if there is intermittent bleed.
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily. I would be glad to answer any further queries. Take care and please keep me informed of your progress at http://bit.ly/Dr-Prasad-Akole

Hello.Your son have" microscopic blood in urine",this is normal after renal trauma.
Quiet.Macroscopic blood in urine(blood is in urination)can be more worrisome but
not microscopic blood in urine. Also normal ultrasound is a good sign.
Quiet.Your son must drink lots of water and a few days repeat the urine analytical(probably will be normal).I wish you good health.
