Dear Angel,

The pain in lower limbs especially when you stand indicates you should get your sugar (fasting, post-prandial, HbA1c) tests and arterial doppler done for the right leg. Throbbing pain can be due to some infection (cellulitis) or arterial block (family history of cardiovascular illness present) which will also progress to cellulitis if left untreated. Has there been temperature difference between your right and left legs? if yes, then please get these tests done without giving a second thought. Being 47 years, are you still menstruating or reached menopause? In case of menopause if you are using any hormonal replcament therapy, then it's better you consult your doctor right away to stop the therapy in view of pain in lower limb.
I hope you got your answer. If anything else, please get back to me. Take care.
