Pain In Arms, Numb, Tingles, Throbs, Breast Cancer Survivor. Any Exercise?

Hi! I believe I may have been injured by walking my dog, which is 70 lbs. and very strong. My neighbor calls her when he sees her and then she pulls me. From my right baby finger, up my arm and around my should up to under my shoulder blade..... I have excruciating pain. It is constant pain, feels kind of numb, tingles, and throbs at times too. I am a new breast cancer survivor. Have been told that the hospital will make me an appt. but it has not been done. May gp tp my primary dr. instead of waiting foro the specialst back doctor if iy takes too long. Am wondering what over the counter helps the best and if you have any exercises to hekp. ANY ADVICE!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much! Debbie YYYY@YYYY

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The tingling numbness and pain in the arms is likely to be due to a mild nerve compression or irritation by the soft tissue oedema in the area. Most of the times such pains can be treated with pregabalin or gabapentin or methylcobalamin supplements. Exercises are not likely to help you much.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
