Numbness Inside Corners Of Big Toes. Dental Hygienist, Sits For Long Periods. Remedy?
For the past 4 months the inside corners of my big toes have been numb. I am a dental hygienist so I sit for a long period of time. I have no medical hx that could be a factor in this, nor does my family. (No diabetes) I did recently buy a new pair of Dansko shoes around the time of it starting... But I've worn them before. I have also stopped wearing them and the numbness has not got away. I also work 7 days a week (3/7 I stand for long hours as it's a part time retail until I find full time hygiene).
Hello and welcome to hcm, The numbness inside corners of toes has developed due to long standing during your working hours. I would suggest you to work by sitting position as much as possible. Also make sure that you are keeping your elbows straight and head without bending too much. Keep your feet parallel and touching on the floor well. Scaling and impression making procedures can be done in sitting position by adjusting your chair position. Please do visit a physician and get further treatment done. Physiotherapic exercises may be helpful. Take care.
