Noticed Swelling Of Forehead Due To Sunburn
I got sunburnt 2 days ago. My forehead is swollen for 2 days now. I have put aloe Vera aftersun gel on, cold ice pack on area, ibuprofen and paracetamol. It is still swollen and now moving down towards my eyes, bridge of my nose and my eye shape is different. I want to know what else can i do to help get rid of swelling, and how long should this last for?

Acute sunburn can be very painful and discomforting.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to take a short course of an oral steroids. Oral steroids are rapidly acting and immediately bring down the sweeling and discomfort.
In addition to that you could use topical moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream, twice daily for a week.
An OTC pain killer/anti-inflammatory e.g ibuprofen or aspirin can be taken twice or thrice daily to relieve the pain and discomfort.
Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day.
