No periods for long time, depression, not undergoing menopause. On birth control, stopped. Treatment?

hi i am 38 years old and i havent had a period for about 7 years, i went off the pill to see if my periods would return as a lot of doctors said that it could be from being on the pill for too long, still no period.I have depression but feel so much worse than ever before, all the doctors say i am too young to go through early menopause but i really need to know.

Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that looking to your age if you are not having menses since long being then the underlying cause need to be found out of course this could be early menopause but this need to be differentiated, take care and have a nice day.
