My Gall Bladder Is Removed. Had High Drinking Habit. When I Drink Have Pain Under Rib Cage. Had Nausea, Heart Burn. Suggestions?
hi my name is kimberly i am 25 yr old i have no gall bladder because of removal i drink occ but when i do drink i drink large amounts of alcohol i use to drink every days and now its just occ. my symptoms are when i drink i get almost sever pain rite under my rite side rib cage and i swell very rapidly like i have to take my rings off the same nite i also get very bad nausea and heart burn could this be cirrhosis
thanks for your query. you have not mentioned your period of drinking that is from how long how many years ?? as u said u r taking large amounts and pain over right side that could b fatty liver not exactly be cirrhosis.. i think u r symptoms of heart burn and nausea says the erosion of the esophagus .make sure of your liver enzymes which will be raised in liver disease.
have endoscopy done to exclude varices. consult your nearby gastroenterologist.
