Were I treating her, I would prefer to give her a trial of intranasal corticosteroid sprays and montelukast with levocetirizine for a few weeks. Also, I would test her for allergies and if she is allergic to particular substance, I would suggest yo avoid it. If this can help, removal of adenoids can be avoided. Adenoids are part of a child s immune system and hence efforts should be made to preserve them if possible. However, if necessary, they have to be removed as suggested by an ENT specialist.
