Thanks for posting your query. From the information you have provided, it appears that the baby s heart beat has stopped. You can get another scan from a different centre/doctor before we conclude for sure even though its unlikely to change. If heart beat was seen 2 weeks ago, you would have been atleast 6 weeks then. I would like to know the reason for the follow up scan, were you have any bleeding?or cramps? In any case, it looks like the pregnancy is not going well. You can have a second scan to confirm. Your doctor will discuss the options after that. 15% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage due to intrinsic problems in the baby. If this is your first pregnancy, then 95% of times the next pregnancy will go on well. There is nothing you have done or not done to cause this situation. So do not blame your self.
