Missed Periods. Have Pregnancy Symptoms. Had Miscarried Earlier. Started Bleeding. Miscarriage?

Hi i am an 18 year old female. I missed my period last month and have been having pregnancy symptoms. The two that stood out to me most was milk ducts and nauseousness. I always get my period on the 15th of every month so missing it last month was a huge indicator to me that i most likely could be pregnant. I have had a miscarriage before so when i went to the bathroom and saw i was bleeding i became really concerned. could i be having a miscarriage?

Hi and thanks for this query.
I a so sorry to hear about what you are experiencing now.

Bleeding in pregnancy(assuming you are pregnant) raises the suspicion of abortion. Abortion is a continuous spectrum that spans from threatened abortion, inevitable abortion, incomplete, complete or issued depending on the signs and symptoms.

It is normal to be concerned. The suspicion of abortion is very high. You will need to meet and get evaluated by your OBGYN. An examination and a couple of tests will make the picture clearer and adequate treatment options offered depending on the final diagnosis.

I hope this helps. Wish you the best of outcomes with this on going experience.

OBGYN Dr. Sree Gouri SR's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.

According to your description the possibility of pregnancy is there.
But just by symptoms and onset of bleeding we cannot come to one conclusion regarding miscarriage.
So you once go for urine pregnancy test.
If the test comes positive consult gynecologist once.
And you need one ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and miscarriage.
And then depending on the stage of miscarriage further management can be planned.
For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429
Take care.
